- Vessel details and insurance details, which may contain limited personal details
We will collect certain special types of personal data for berth holder processing purposes, including information contained within passports such as nationality.

- Processing visitor applications
- Identity checks
- Taking payments for berth services, including berth allocation and shore services
- Moving information between IT systems to allow payments

- Vessel details including type, name, registration and insurance details, which may contain limited personal details

We will collect certain special types of personal data for Ships Registry processing purposes, including information contained within passports such as nationality.
Purpose for collecting data
- Processing registration of a ship application
- Identity checks
- Queries for registrations and Ships registry administration
We may also pass personal information to third parties such as law enforcement agencies where required for investigations and court orders; persons who have been duly appointed by the owner to deal with the vessel on their behalf (i.e. agents, representative persons, etc.
Some data will be made public as per the Shipping (Registration) (Jersey) Regulations 2004.

Process
We process homeowner personal data in order to carry out water testing to monitor the historic impact of the PFAS/PFOS contamination.

- Positive or Negative water test results
We do not collect any special categories of data for PFAS/PFOS testing.
Purpose for collecting data
To carry out water testing on a number of properties to identify the presence of PFOS/PFAS compounds In the St Ouen’s Bay Plume area.
We share the water sample results with Government of Jersey, and publish findings on PoJ website (where consent has been received)

Indefinitely: information retained until a solution for the contamination is found due to potential legal process.
